LAHORE: The Punjab Health Department has sealed 685 shops during last two months for complaints of the sale of spurious and expired drugs and 19 cases were registered including imposing of heavy fines.
This was stated by Punjab Secretary Health Fawad Hassan Fawad in a high level meeting presided over by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Tuesday.
He said that medicines were checked at 14,509 places during the period and 7,810 samples were obtained. He said the campaign against spurious drug sellers would continue.
