Peshawar : 7 injured in explosion at cloth market

 Seven persons were injured as an explosive device planted in busy cloth market of Saddar area, went off here on Tuesday
According to Police, the explosive device was planted to target the common people. The intensity of explosion was not so sever as it was a low intensity bomb, said a security official.
One of the injured was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital while the remaining were taken to Cantonment Hospital for medical treatment.
Some of those who sustained injuries are identified as Ikram son of Naimatullah resident of Landi Arbab, Abu Bakkar son of Nazar Muhammad, Ghulam Raza son of Munawar Ali resident of Lahore, Akal Massih son of Seraj Massih.
Shafi market, the site of the blast, is a commercial hub of Saddar area where huge rush of shoppers, mostly female and children, used to visit during the day.
